Add Some Features?
This site runs on Drupal 6, and Drupal is an amazingly flexible program. You wouldn't believe how many modules are available for it.
With that in mind and the fact that I have a little free time for a few days, I'm wondering if there are any features you'd like to see added here. If I can't do it, I'll let you know, but there are a lot of things that can be added besides the Gallery and Videos. Even the ability to search content by tags, or a writing contest, or a chat room... What would interest you?
That's a good idea, but what to poll?
Unfortunately, cigarette holders are a somewhat limited subject. For example, I'd love some nonfiction articles on them; I just don't think you can get more than 3 or 4 articles out of them before exhausting the matter. I suppose that the site will almost always be about pictures and videos because that's where our interests lie.
Having said that, I would love to create a website that's ABOUT something. I have the knowledge, I just don't have a subject that interests me enough to dive into.
How do you add a personal favourites gallery similar to that which Sue has?

I was asking the group in general including yourself. If you can direct me as to how to start a User alum I would appreciate it. Thank you.
While I am waiting for Sue to give me a User album I must add comment and a question or two about the present ones. We have several user albums on the gallery but many or all seem to have been created in July 2009 and never added to since? Is this because the users do not still use the site? Or they do not add to the site? Or they add to the site via the small contributions album but are never sorted?
It seems strange having so many great albums which do not seem to be added to? I do realise that the site went down around July of 2009 and therefore all the old images were uploaded from library but why is it there seems to be non added since then?

This seems to have taken forever. I think there is some sort of bug because i keep getting asked to clear out the admin cache before i can progress. Sadly it is password protected and only Eric has that. However, it looks like it may have worked if you could try it Kev
Thanks Sue. It seems to work ok. However when I uploaded a sample pic it seemed to duplicate it? Not sure if it has or not? I am trying to work ot how to add subalbums so will take a while before I really start to use it. Thanks for the help.
One thing I dont think works is a chat room. Getting more than one person in there at the same time is a rareity. Maybe a monthly poll might be a good thing. Start on the 1st of each month and end on the last day.
