Oops!

It seems that, in upgrading the carousel, the random videos block has disappeared!

I'll fix it later, but now is as good a time as any to ask about it. For our users on a slow connection, that block makes the page load slowly. Is it time to get rid of it? Please chime in!

I no longer have it blocking my titles so my view for what its worth is to please leave it off the front page. Have a nice Xmas and thanks again for maintaining the site over the last 12 months.

I quite liked the videos. Most of us have high bandwidth connections so that generally isn't a problem. True, a lot of the videos aren't that good, but that's true for EVERYTHING (Pohl's Law) and some are truly outstanding.
